The University announced that 18-year-old College student Hannah Graham has been missing since early Saturday morning.

Graham was last heard from early Saturday morning at 1:20 a.m. when she sent a text message to one of her friends. On Sunday, friends and family concluded that no one had seen or heard from Graham since that time.

At 4:34 p.m. Sunday, a call was placed to the Charlottesville Police Department. University Police were also notified, but the case is being handled by the Charlottesville Police.

"A search using a bloodhound was conducted Sunday evening, but that search did not turn up anything useful," Charlottesville Police said in a press release.

A University release says Graham is 5-foot-11 with a skinny build. She has blue eyes, light brown hair and freckles. She was last seen wearing a black crop top with mesh cut outs.

Anyone with information as to Graham's whereabouts is asked to call Charlottesville Police at  434-970-3280 or Crimestoppers at 434-977-4000.
