Streaker, dancer scrubbed

Students enjoying the Rotunda Sing Wednesday night saw a little dance with their songs.

Fourth-year College student Patrick Sweet, who works as a Rotunda guard, was one of the mysterious performers in the upstairs window of the Rotunda.

"I was taking a break from studying Latin and had to let loose," Sweet said. "The Rotunda needs some spirit."

During the Belles' rendition of TLC's "No Scrubs," a streaker ran behind the singers. Kristy Wohlford, second-year College student and Belles member, said that the fact that soloist Liz Coy ad-libbed the line "If you decide to streak the Rotunda sing" during the song was entirely coincidental.

"We had no idea," Wohlford said. "I don't think any of us even knew what was happening when it happened."

She said although it is rumored that someone streaks the Sing every year, "no one ever knows what group it's going to happen to."
