Should students who are caught streaking the Lawn be arrested?
No. My personal opinion is that students shouldn't [be arrested] because of tradition. It's not really harming the public because it's in a closed-in area. As for the individual, people can harm themselves in many other ways, like by riding a car. Are we going to say people can't drive cars?

No, because in general the police department at U.Va. is tolerant of tradition -- such as tailgates at football games -- and it seems excessive that they'd waste their time on catching streakers when there are more serious, violent crimes being committed.

I feel like if students started getting arrested for streaking, there would be uproar from the student body. Students are not trying to be indecent when they streak, they are only taking part in a tradition. It would not be wise for law enforcement to arrest people over streaking.
