Virginia faces first tough hurdle

You might have laughed after hearing that Purdue, the Cavaliers' opponent tonight, lost its season opener to upstart Central Michigan, but your jaw probably dropped if you saw the headlines of the Boilermakers' upset win over then-No. 1 Arizona. After blowing out three lightweight opponents, including a 64-48 win at Virginia Tech Friday night, the Cavs (3-0) will get their first test of the season at 7 p.m. tonight in a nationally televised game at sold-out University Hall.

But is Virginia ready for an established program like Purdue?
