The Virginia women's tennis team defeated Old Dominion 6-1 on Saturday in Virginia Beach to move to 2-0 on the season.

The Cavaliers benefited from two forfeits, one at No. 3 doubles and one at No. 6 singles.

The forfeit, coupled with a win at number two doubles by freshmen sisters Marta and Dora Bechliwanis, gave Virginia the doubles point.

Senior Amy O'Donnell, sophomore Henriette Williams and both Bechliwanis sisters won singles matches. Sophomore Jennifer Tuchband took nationally ranked Ana Rodeljevic to three sets but ultimately fell 7-6, 5-7, 3-6.
