Swimmers continue to pull in Academic All-American Awards for spring semester

Two Virginia swimmers, Luke Wagner and Megan Roesch, have earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America first-team Academic All-America honors for the 2002 spring semester. This is the fourth year in a row that Roesch has garnered an academic All-American award, though she is not the only one on the team to be recognized. The entire women's swimming team picked up the CSCAA team award for academics during the 2002 spring semester. The combined Grade Ppoint Average for the women's swimming team was 2.98.

To earn individual CSCAA Academic All-American honors, students must have at least a 3.5 GPA. In order for a team to be eligible for the award, there must be a minimum 2.8 team GPA.
