Rotunda Stop...

Q: What is your reaction to the latest attack in the sniper case?

How is the Charlottesvlle community dealing with the tragedies in other parts of the state?

A: Having a sniper on the loose is a scary situation, but I would not alter my life or stop doing my everyday activities. I'm from Maine, so my family is not right in the midst of this, but I have a lot of friends in Northern Virginia that I worry about.

But I think this crisis applies to people on a broader geographical level. The sniper killings have really attracted a response from the whole nation. Just because the sniper might not be in a certain area right now, doesn't mean it couldn't happen there one day.

Awful things have been

happening a lot, but the sniper is just more concentrated. At this point, I think people should be just as concerned about the rapes and assaults going on in Charlottesville.

We definitely need to be careful, but we can't live in fear.
