STAT 110: Chance Introduction to Statistics
Q: Where were you born?
A: Taiwan. I came to the United States in 1997.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: Japan and China -- because I think they are just interesting. Japan's culture -- and China's -- is so related to Taiwan, but I've never been there, so I would like to take a look.
Q: What are your aspirations?
A: I hope I can be a professor at a university,and I would like to learn acupuncture.Maybe I can get a license for that and practice when I retire.
Q: Where is your favorite place in Charlottesville to just be alone?
A: I think it would be the Barnes and Noble on Emmet Street.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: There are so many, but I like "What Dreams May Come."
Q: Do you drink coffee?
A: No, but I like to drink tea.
Q: Why do you study statistics?
A: I just like trying to use math and logic to apply to the real world.
