U.Va. Women's Indoor Track & Field to send two athletes to NCAA Championships

Virginia's Kiamesha Otey and Eliese Mitchell will compete in the 2003 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is the second time both have qualified for the meet.

Otey, a fourth-year from Quinton, VA, will compete in both the 60-meter dash and the long jump. Mitchell, a fourth-year from Narvon, PA, will compete in throws and shotput.

Both athletes were successful in the ACC Championships where Otey won the title in the long jump and placed second in the 60-meter dash. Mitchell took third in the weight throw at the ACC's. The NCAA Championship will take place March 14-15.
