Estimated reading time: 0 minutes

Virginia gained an easy victory in a 16-6 rout of Temple in Philadelphia Saturday.

The Cavaliers dominated throughout, as they held the Owls scoreless for 48 minutes in the middle portion of the game, jumping out to a 16-2 lead.

Three Cavaliers came away with hat tricks -- sophomore attackman Cary Chasney and senior midfielder Lauren Aumiller both scored four goals, while sophomore midfielder Amy Appelt added three.

It was an historic day for Chasney as she notched her 100th career point in just her second year.
