Virginia junior Jeff Kamrath threw a complete game shutout against Maryland March 28, garnering ACC Pitcher of the Week honors.
Kamrath recorded 11 strikeouts in the 6-0 Cavalier victory over the Terrapins. The performance marked Kamrath's third complete game of his career and his second shutout against Maryland.
Kamrath is 3-1 this year with a 2.72 ERA. He leads the team with 44 strikeouts and 39.2 innings and is holding opposing batters to a .236 batting average.
