FSU backfield weakened

No. 10 Florida State will enter Saturday's game against Georgia Tech with new faces in the backfield.The Seminoles lost halfbacks Leon Washington and Lorenzo Booker in their opening two games. While starting tailback Greg Jones remains healthy, Florida State is trying several different players for the back-up role.Coach Bobby Bowden moved wide receiver Willie Reid to the backfield along with freshman Joslin Shaw.

The Seminoles also are running thin at fullback.Starter James Coleman has an injured foot and Torrance Washington was injured in preseason.

Sophomore linebacker Chad Canfield is expected to be listed behind B.J. Dean for Saturday's game.
