FSU wide receiver heads class of ACC Football Players of the Week

Florida State Seminoles receiver Craphonso Thorpe was the ACC offensive player of the week after an eight-catch, 205-yard performance against Colorado. Thorpe currently leads the conference with 94.5 yards per game, and his performance was the first 200-yard receiving effort since Peter Warrick in 1997.

The offensive line's top performance came from N.C. State's Sean Locklear, as he set up the offense for 474 yards of offense and five touchdowns in their victory against Texas Tech. The Wolfpack also had the Defensive Back of the Week as N.C. State's cornerback Greg Golden paced its victory with a 71-yard interception for a touchdown.

Leading the defensive line was Clemson linebacker John Leake who recorded a team-best 14 tackles and led the Tigers to a 39-3 win over Georgia Tech. The Specialist of the Week was UNC's Michael Waddell, who broke free for 176 yards of kick returns, including a 97-yard touchdown in the Tar Heels' loss to Wisconsin.
