ACC Announces Proposal for New Schedule

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced outlines for next year's football and basketball schedules on Wednesday. The new schedules will be in place for two years, after which they will be evaluated for fairness and balance. The ACC will expand to an eleven-team league next year with the addition of Miami and Virginia Tech.

The proposed schedule has major ramifications for ACC football, where the proposed schedule will force four teams to play three football powerhouses.
