The No. 3 seeded Virginia men's soccer team will begin its quest for the ACC Championship in a battle against the No. 6 seeded Clemson Tigers Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. This quarterfinal showdown will take place in Cary, N.C. at the SAS Soccer Complex.

The Cavaliers compiled a conference record of 3-3-0 while the Tigers have posted a similar 2-4-0 record against ACC foes.

The lone bout between these two teams this season took place Oct. 11 and resulted in a 3-2 Virginia victory at Klockner Stadium. If Virginia defeats the Tigers again, they will face the winner of No. 2 seeded Wake Forest and No. 7 seeded Duke. The Cavaliers look to reach the finals for the fifth consecutive year.
