Maryland 41, Wake Forest 28 Maryland senior running back Bruce Perry scampered for 237 yards and three scores, including TD runs of 49 and 80 yards within a two-minute stretch in the third quarter, to lead the Terps past Wake. Demon Deacon rusher Chris Barclay ran for 243 yards and three TDs (53, 5, 74) in the losing effort. Maryland will compete in the Gator Bowl Jan. 1.

Florida St. 38, Florida 34

The Seminoles reached the 10-win plateau for the first time since 2000 thanks to P.K. Sam's 52-yard TD reception from Chris Rix with under a minute remaining. The game, however, was marred by a host of questionable officiating calls and a postgame brawl that police used pepper spray to break up. FSU will play in an as-yet-undetermined BCS bowl.

Georgia 34, Georgia Tech 17

The Yellow Jackets fell behind early, lagging behind the Bulldogs 20-3 at halftime. Freshman Reggie Ball left the game with a concussion, and senior A.J. Suggs threw two TDs and two picks in relief. Jonathan Smith hauled in nine passes for 108 yards and a TD. Georgia Tech is expected to receive a bid to the Humanitarian Bowl.
