Women's tennis to compete this afternoon at Maryland

No. 65 Virginia will take on the ACC-rival Maryland Terrapins in College Park today at 2:30 p.m.

Both teams are coming off consecutive losses at the hands of No. 3 Duke and No. 12 North Carolina this past weekend. Virginia lost 4-3 Saturday to the Tar Heels and followed up that performance with a 6-1 loss at home against Duke on Sunday. Similarly, Maryland fell 7-0 to the Blue Devils on Saturday and 5-2 to UNC the following day.

Neither team has been able to earn a conference win thus far, with both teams sporting 0-5 ACC records. With a current 9-10 record, the Cavaliers find themselves slightly ahead of the Terrapins (6-10).

Following the Maryland match, Virginia will complete its ACC schedule at Wake Forest April 10.
