Cavalier swimmers star in FINA World Championships

Virginia senior All-American Michael Raab finished sixth in the 200-meter butterfly final Saturday while competing in Indianapolis at the FINA World Championships. The event featured upwards of 600 swimmers from more than 100 countries coming together to compete in short course meters at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Raab held second place after the preliminary races with a time of 1:55.05, falling slightly in the final when the timer stopped at 1:54.95.

Cavalier sophomore Vanja Rogulj also competed, finishing 15th in the 200-meter breaststroke preliminary heat.
