Swimming and diving teams cruise to victory over Pittsburgh

Both the Virginia men's and women's swimming and diving teams continued their undefeated seasons Saturday, rolling past Pittsburgh 129-106 and 126-106 respectively.

Junior Fran Crippen took home three individual event titles, winning the 500-yard freestyle, the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley. Senior Bo Greenwood won three events as well, including victories in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle. He also swam a leg in the successful 400-yard medley relay.

Juniors Rachael Burke, Katie Gordon and freshman Jess Lewis each won two events on the women's side for the Cavaliers.

Pittsburgh swept both the men's and women's diving events in the losing effort.
