Men's golf finishes 10th in Tournament of Champions in Tennessee

The Cavalier men's golf team recorded a score of 297 in the final round to finish 10th overall in the Tournament of Champions Tuesday.

The Cavaliers accumulated a score of 866 (+14) for the three-round tournament, finishing just two strokes behind Arkansas for ninth place. Tennessee led all teams with a score of 818 (-34) to notch the first-place finish.

Freshman golfer Conrad Von Borsig amassed the top score out of all the Cavaliers, shooting an even par 213. Borsig finished 17th overall, just 12 strokes behind the leader, Tennessee's Lloyd Campbell. The Cavaliers will have their next outing in Nashville, Tenn. against Mason Rudolph Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
