Soundtrack to your life

Playlists are part of the iPod revolution that has taken over Grounds. Everyone is in his or her own world; students have become zombies with earphones. You've seen them from afar, or maybe they've run into you in their trances.

Regardless, it's impossible not to notice the white earphones taking over Grounds. Why? iPods offer an escape from the world and even your own thoughts -- if you turn the music up loud enough. It's a portable, personal soundtrack to your life. Everyone is in the same movie, but everyone has his or her own soundtrack.
