Hella always tries to mix things up. Since the duo's formation in 2001, the band has released a steady flow of material, all of which has its own unique offerings. On their last full-length release, Church Gone Wild/Chirpin' Hard, both members created their own solo discs and each strayed far from the band's regular sound.
