Rocky Horror
You won't see this Rocky running up the stairs in the cold wearing sweats. What you probably will see, are a lot of fishnets, tights and crazy costumes as students come out to show their love for and participate in the viewing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. THe movie features a few big names, such as Susan Sarandon, Tim Curry and Meatloaf, a lot of laughs and a few good songs. Publicized as a night of voyeuristic intentions, students and the general public can come out on November 30 and December 1 at midnight as either audience member or participant.
Writer's Strike Update
Writers and producers met this past Monday to begin negotiations on a new contract between writers and studios. This was the first time the writers had spoken since before Nov. 4 when they first went on the strike. The talks seem promising as both sides have ordered a press blackout, not allowing either party to leak any of the negotiations to the media. Additionally, Guild members at the negotiation, have stated that they won't share any information with other writers until there is some definitive news. Big ticket issues, however, such as revenues for DVD and Web casts, are still being discussed.
