Senior David Lewis became the fifth Cavalier in history to win the decathlon, and sophomore Stephanie Garcia, who also works for The Cavalier Daily, claimed the ACC title in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:17.38.

Junior Yemi Ayeni successfully defended his ACC title in the discus, and junior Andrew Jesien won the 1,500-meter run.
