Sexist pronouns

I think there's nothing wrong with the idea of a "nontraditional candidate" being picked to be the next President of the University of Virginia. But your editorial ("To boldly go...", Oct. 9) seems to me stuck in the deepest of traditional ruts. For throughout the entire piece you repeatedly refer to the next President as "he."
