Haiti relief groups reach $100,000 goal

Hoos Feud event, Board of Visitors give Hoos for Haiti final push to achieve fundraising numbers

Although several months have passed since the 7.0-magnitude earthquake devastated Haiti in January, the island nation is still very much on the minds of University faculty, staff and students.\nHoos for Haiti, a University-wide fundraising campaign, reached its semester's fundraising goal of $100,000 this past weekend. Meredyth Gilmore, a fourth-year College student who also is involved with the financial workings of Hoos for Haiti, said many diverse groups across Grounds
