Consequential stories deserve to be followed up

SOME PEOPLE were upset a couple of weeks ago about the way The Cavalier Daily covered the arrest of three football players. I was more concerned about the story of David Solomon, a former student at the University who was arrested for unauthorized filming, attempted unauthorized filming and possession of child pornography.

Solomon attended the University in 2006 and 2007, according to the story. The story also said Solomon was convicted of three counts of unlawful filming in 2007. Solomon was working at a bookstore at Dulles International Airport and was arrested after a six-month investigation that began when a passenger passing through the airport "suspected an airport employee was attempting to
