The Cavaliers finished only 2-10 (1-7 ACC) this past season, the latest in a long string of disappointing seasons. However, many seem to feel the program is capable of being competitive with the best programs in the ACC conference.

Admittedly, I am not the biggest tennis fan. I played a bit in high school, but never really cared to follow the collegiate or professional levels. The sport just isn’t that exciting to me and, subsequently, I haven’t really paid attention to Virginia’s teams.

It doesn’t take a basketball savant to tell you the Virginia men’s basketball team’s 65-39 loss to Florida Saturday night was bad. Really, really bad.
