Shot over three days in August at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and released on Oct. 13 (Swift’s favorite number), “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” stands as a nearly three-hour concert documentary, bringing the tour experience to those not able to navigate the morass of attaining tickets and attending in person.

In the theater, and in the crowds on screen, there were parents and children, middle school and college students, Swifties and non-Swifties and everything in between, all of whom were held, rapt, for the entirety of the three hours. So call it what you want, but certainly don’t call it boring. 


A defining quality of The Wavelength, and perhaps what has brought back their weekly crowds to The Whiskey Jar, is Milor’s eagerness to interact with the crowd.

The tones of classic rock and roll and the rhythms of blues swept across a buzzing audience of packed tables and standing spectators as couples danced sweetly on the periphery. 


Flux’s open mic nights — the club’s hallmark event — are where this celebration of all art forms takes place most frequently.

Every Thursday evening in the belly of Brooks Hall sits the collection of poets, creatives and arts enthusiasts that make up Flux, the University’s student-led poetry and spoken word organization. The only one of its kind on Grounds, Flux plays a unique and important role in the community, giving its participants a place to express themselves and a platform to share their work.
