Many recent graduates of the Class of 2021 remain hopeful that their time at the University will lead them to success in their careers.
Many students and groups have campaigned for the removal of the Frank Hume Memorial Wall due to Hume’s Confederate background over the past year.
In spring 2020, 9,825 undergraduate students and 1,875 graduate students elected to utilize the grading system.
University student organizations have been rallying support for both groups involved in the conflict.
While Mehta will be unable to cast votes, she will serve as a conduit between students and administration, giving student input into areas that the Board of Visitors oversees.

The fund reimburses up to $500 per alum in travel related expenses, which the application listed as including, “gas expenses, plane ticket, train ticket, bus ticket, rental car fees and hotel or other accommodation costs.”
