Weak 'Starfish' sinks to rock's bottom

Limp Bizkit has gone from bad to worse. Although it obtained success with a truly god-awful sophomore album after rising to fame with a heavy rotation on TRL, selling out to discover the head-banging potential of "Faith," "Significant Other" was merely awful.

Renewed 'Exorcist' scares up old thrills

Okay, I admit it. I love movies filled with religious themes and meaning, and, luckily, the newly restored "The Exorcist" provides an absolute wealth of such symbolism. The film, which on the surface is the tale of the possession of Regan MacNeil (Linda Blair), a 12-year-old girl, is actually a strong statement about traditional medicine and the importance of faith.

'Skin' displays impressive body of work

The Antrobus family certainly faces some trying times, but the drama department that brings them to life could not have started off its new season on a more triumphant note. It helps that the production company is working with Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winner "The Skin of Our Teeth." It's quite a meaty dish to sink one's fangs into. "Skin" emerged in 1942 as an antidote, of sorts, to World War II pessimism.

'Dancer' sings high praise for star Bjork

"Dancer in the Dark" is a breathtaking film, in the most literal sense of the adjective. At times, the audience cannot breathe. What makes "Dancer" so spectacular is that in spite of its portrayal of a bleak reality, the film is a musical.

Nice guys do finish last, but that's a good thing. At least it was to Eddie (pictured above), who won half a million dollars as the last man standing in CBS' "Big Brother" house. But while Eddie may have emerged victorious, the show that provided his windfall was one big failure.

Blethyn finds high in homegrown 'Grace'

Poor Grace is in quite a pickle. Her husband has chosen to go sky diving sans parachute and has left the Cornish village society maven with no way to pay off all of his debt and still hold onto her gorgeous home.
