This weekend, the No. 31 Virginia women's tennis team will face two daunting Ivy League opponents, both matches away from the comfort of a home court. The Cavaliers (5-1) will start their intense weekend Saturday with a match at Princeton (0-0), and then follow up Sunday at Penn (2-0). "We feel pretty good on the road," coach Phil Rogers said.
As the dual meet season winds down, the Virginia men's and women's swim teams have one more fish to fry before reaching the ACC championship meet next week. The teams must first face ACC rival Maryland tomorrow in College Park, to finish off the regular season.
Each club sports team can be characterized by its unique make-up of hard work, competitive spirit and fun experiences.
In a crucial ACC matchup, the Cavaliers will travel to College Park to take on the Maryland Terrapins in a nationally televised game tonight.
The No. 5 Cavaliers will take on No. 23 Clemson tomorrow at Historic Riggs Field in Clemson for their last regular season game before the ACC Tournament.
The Cavalier women's soccer team will take on the Liberty Lady Flames tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.
The Virginia women's volleyball team will face North Carolina today at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Gym.
