Students, professors and experts came together last night to discuss injustice, struggles and the violence faced by the people of Palestine. Students for Peace and Justice in Palestine hosted a panel on the human rights crisis in Palestine as part of their annual Palestine Week.

U.Va. sees increased recycling efforts

After only a month at the University, first-year students have made a heavy impact -- 23 tons worth. Over the two-week period surrounding first-year students' Move-In Day in August, the University's Division of Recoverable and Disposable Resources collected and processed 23 tons of cardboard.

University honors legacy of Va. civil rights lawyer Oliver Hill Sr.

Half a century after the judicial verdicts that redefined education, the University Law School honored civil rights lawyer Oliver Hill Sr., whose work helped make the integration of schools possible. Hill?, a Virginia native and renowned civil rights law activist who passed away last month, was honored by the Center for Study of Race and Law in a panel discussion and award ceremony at the Caplin Auditorium Thursday.
