Members of the University and Charlottesville community gathered at the Rotunda Friday evening to witness the unveiling of the Rotunda Planetarium.
The event was held Friday night in a multi-purpose room in the lower floor of the AFC.
Although Hereford, Brown and the International Residential College differ in central focus, all three are intended to carry out Thomas Jefferson’s ideal of the academical village by extending learning beyond the classroom and into the home.
VISAS is made up of eight programs aimed at fostering dialogue between domestic volunteers and international members of the University community.
