If students are willing to wait a little bit longer to sign a lease, there is a better chance that they will end up with closer friends to live with.
Additional required pre-professional experience would help students more adequately prepare for the workplace.
An increase in outdoor study spaces would benefit the health and education of students at the University.
Students should start the year fresh by challenging themselves with new experiences.
Thomas Jefferson once referred to the University as “the future bulwark of the human mind in this hemisphere” in his private correspondence.
Instead of encouraging giving to the school in general, the administration should consider highlighting portions of the University that are legitimately underfunded or worthy of support.
Easter is drawing near, which signals the end of lent. Lent is a 40 day period in the Christian calendar where people can take time to reflect and assume certain disciplines to prepare for Easter.
In the end, the arguments against online comment sections ignore the purpose of a newspaper and raise more questions than they do answers.
Students at the University are expected to be leaders in the community, behave honorably, have the authority to expel other students from the school and do it all while maintaining a respectable GPA.
