The No. 12 Virginia women’s tennis team closed out its regular season Sunday with a 7-0 win at home against NC State.
The No. 9 Virginia women’s tennis team extended its win streak to three matches on Saturday with a 7-0 blanking at Louisville.
The No. 8 Virginia women’s tennis team ended its two-match losing streak with a 7-0 win over Wake Forest Sunday at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.
The No. 8 Virginia women’s tennis team opened this past weekend with a 4-3 win over No. 15 Clemson, but the Cavaliers followed up with their first ACC loss of the season in Sunday’s match against No. 24 Duke.
The No. 5 Virginia women’s tennis team kicked off their spring break by sweeping a doubleheader on March 8. The Cavaliers extended their win streak to six games by beating No. 57 Florida State 6-1 and George Washington 6-0.
The No. 7 Virginia women’s tennis team beat No. 59 Syracuse 6-1 Saturday in the Cavaliers’ first ACC match of the season. Virginia (7-2, 1-0 ACC) jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead to start the day by winning the doubles point.
The Virginia women’s tennis team went 2-1 over the weekend at the 2015 ITA National Women’s Tennis Indoor Team Championships hosted at the Boar’s Head Inn.
With several players out battling the flu, the Virginia women’s tennis team incurred its first loss of the season to Baylor in a 6-1 match Saturday.
Off to its first 3-0 start in coach Tony Bennett’s six-year tenure at Virginia, the No. 9 men’s basketball team will face its first true test of the season Friday when it hosts George Washington.
