'Metroid Prime Pinball' rolls onto the DS

Metroid Prime was one of the best and most popular games on the Nintendo Gamecube. Pinball was one of the best and most popular games at bars, pool halls and arcades during the later half of the 20th century.

'Polarium': Enjoyable at times

People waiting for the "must-have" puzzle game for the Nintendo DS will keep waiting. Polarium makes great use of the DS' touch screen, but doesn't pack enough puzzle punch to entertain gamers for more than short bursts of time. The game consists of white and black blocks that switch colors when pressed.

Immersive 'War' Wows

In the spirit of Devil May Cry and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, God of War delivers deep combat, rich puzzles and gorgeous graphics that continually push the envelope and the limits of the PlayStation 2. In God of War, gamers guide Kratos, a fictional ex-Spartan warrior looking to save the city of Athens from the wrath of the God Ares, avenge his brutal past and repay a debt to the Gods.

Jet Li stars in simple, cinematic 'Rise to Honor'

A recent trend in gaming has been to incorporate many cinematic elements into the game experience -- ideally to help tell a better story than games usually do, to allow players to become part of their favorite film or perhaps even to attempt some combination of the two.
