For the upcoming semester, the Commons will host 13 academic classes and anticipates an increase in internal programmatic and research activities.
The Committee hopes to show all aspects of the Honor system with the entire student body during its planned events throughout the week, especially with those who aren’t as engaged with Honor.
Committee members provided updates on ongoing investigations, upcoming sanction hearings, and Honor Week events.
Unfortunately, over the past year, the University has largely only platformed academic perspectives about the ongoing conflict in Palestine and now Lebanon.
The Guide Service first announced their suspension in a statement Aug. 28, where they said that administration had concerns about the reliability and quality of their tours.
The event, titled “Enabling Difficult Conversations,” featured Dartmouth professors Tarek El-Ariss and Susannah Heschel.
Roughly 58 percent of the summer 2024 budget comes from SAF funding, while non-SAF funds and endowment funds make up approximately 1 percent and 41 percent respectively.
Anyone was able to give it a shot, which meant the performers and audience were full of supportive friends, excited newcomers and enthusiastic veterans.
To be officially considered a CIO as per Student Council legislation, an organization must involve at least 10 members, with more than half of the involved members being students.
The resolution passed 25-1, with next steps including bringing the resolution to appropriate offices, including the Parking and Transportation Office and the Security and General Safety Office.
