All three incoming executive members ran on the Brighter Tomorrow ballot — which advocated for equity, unity and empowerment.
Tuesday’s Student Council meeting was the final general body meeting of the 78th term which featured updates of the year in review from outgoing executive members.
Tuesday’s meeting also included a presentation from Ng and Travis who toured the e-Jest Feb. 21 — the first day this bus began services.

Along with Student Council leadership and representatives, as well as Honor Committee and UJC representatives, students will also vote for their Class Council presidents and vice presidents.
Student Council unanimously passed a resolution to create an earlier application start time and deadline for the on-Grounds housing selection process for returning undergraduates.
UTS is introducing is the E-Jest, a 22-passenger electric minibus designed for narrow roads around the University, such as Wertland Street, which currently lacks regular transportation services.
Student Council passed a resolution to extend the deadline for Student Evaluations of Teaching, which is an optional survey that the University releases at the end of each semester to gain student feedback on courses.
Student Council also discussed the Spring Activities Fair taking place in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom Jan. 27 from 5 - 8 p.m.
