Holy Week

I was warned about culture shock and the emotional aspect of living in another country for an extended period of time.
When does it snow in March in Virginia? The most inopportune time, of course ? the day that I?m supposed to leave for Peru.
When people find out that I?m going to study abroad in Peru, one of the first questions they ask is, ?Do you speak Spanish?? Usually, I just tell them that I took it in high school because honestly, I don?t actually know how good my linguistic abilities are.
Time is a crazy thing. When people say there are always 60 seconds in a minute and 24 hours in a day, I nod and smile but secretly disagree.
I?m stuck in a lull, looking forward to the future and reminiscing about the past but somewhat discontent with the present.
