Cavaliers look to tame Bulls in home contest

After a high-scoring victory in its season opener, the Virginia men?s basketball team will attempt to keep the ball rolling tonight against South Florida.The early games on the Cavaliers? schedule, meant to help the team prepare for its tougher ACC matchups, provide an interesting look at player development and the team?s overall potential.

First three individual matches of season

The Virginia wrestling team will hit the ground running this weekend at the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, competing in its first set of dual meets this season.The Cavaliers started their season off on a high note last weekend at the Michigan State Open, where seven Virginia wrestlers placed.

Team hopes to tame Tigers, stomp Jackets in weekend home matches

After an up-and-down weekend, befitting of the first half of their ACC season, the Cavaliers will kick off the second half of their schedule against Clemson and Georgia Tech this weekend.The Cavaliers (13-10, 5-6 ACC) rank ninth of 12 in the parity-filled ACC this year, while Clemson and Georgia Tech rank third and fifth, respectively.
