Under 21 and fun?

Ever since my mother decided to place me in kindergarten at the age of 4, I have been cursed. I was the last person in my class to pass the five-foot mark, the last person to obtain a driver's license and the last person to reach that vital legality of 18 years.

Free ride?

The task seemed simple enough: Spend a week "living on air." No credit cards, no trips to the ATM, no pulling that dough out of my wallet, no rendezvous with Ben Franklin, Abe Lincoln, John Adams or any of my friends of old.

Taking care of business

Last spring, the McIntire School of Commerce celebrated their No. 2 ranking among commerce schools in the nation.
