TEDxU.Va. is a local chapter of TED, a nonprofit that hosts conferences to spread ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks called TED Talks.
The race is meant to get students out of bed to exercise, while reminding them to practice safe drinking habits.
Student Council will sponsor free Uber and Lyft rides to local early voting sites.
